Smarter from the start

Continuous Remote Monitoring

Remote monitoring is the new standard. Every new Septic iQ install comes equipped with 24/7 monitoring, giving you real-time insights, faster service, and peace of mind from day one.

Considering a Conventional Septic System?

Many homeowners prefer conventional septic systems over aerobic ones. At Septic iQ, we start every new installation with a detailed site evaluation to determine the best system for your soil type and property layout.

While we can’t guarantee your site will qualify for a conventional system under state regulations, our licensed in-house Site Evaluator and Designer will walk you through your options and help you plan for both your immediate needs and your long-term goals.

When a Conventional System Won’t Work, You've still Got Options

Some properties require an aerobic septic system due to soil conditions, space limitations, or state regulations. At Septic iQ, we specialize in designing and installing aerobic systems that are efficient, reliable, and tailored to your property’s unique needs.

Our in-house Site Evaluator and Designer will assess your site, explain the system requirements, and guide you through the decision-making process. Whether you’re building a new home or replacing an outdated system, we’ll help you plan for a setup that supports your lifestyle—now and into the future.

Drip Septic Systems for Specialized Sites

A drip septic system is designed for properties where traditional systems won’t work—like places with very little space, shallow soil, or soil that doesn’t drain well.

Instead of releasing wastewater into a big gravel-filled trench like a conventional system, a drip system slowly “drips” the treated water through small tubing buried just under the surface of your yard. Think of it like a garden drip irrigation system, but for cleaned-up wastewater.

The system controls how much water is released and when, so the soil can absorb it better—making it a good fit for tricky properties. It’s more high-tech than other systems and needs a little more maintenance, but sometimes, it’s the only option that fits both your land and state rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about our septic services.

Pumping frequency depends on household size and tank size. Typically, every 3 to 5 years is recommended to avoid backups. Consult with us for tailored advice based on your system.

Signs include slow drains, gurgling sounds, and foul odors near the drain field. If you notice these issues, it’s crucial to contact us for an inspection as soon as possible.

No, pouring grease down the drain is harmful to your septic system. It can solidify and clog pipes, causing a backup. Dispose of grease properly in the trash instead. It can also increase the frequency with which you have to pump your system.

Select grass, clover, or other shallow-rooted plants for your drain field. Avoid deep-rooted trees or shrubs which can damage the system.

With proper maintenance, a septic system can last 20 to 30 years. Regular inspections and pumping help extend its lifespan.

If you experience a backup, stop using water fixtures immediately and contact us right away to avoid further damage.
